Resumo

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) has grown significantly across various fields of knowledge, particularly in healthcare, where it has been transforming professional practice and contributing to improved diagnostic accuracy. In radiology, its application stands out due to its ability to perform detailed image analysis, complementing medical evaluation and enabling greater diagnostic precision, as well as reducing errors in reporting. In this context, ischemic stroke is a highly prevalent condition in which rapid dec ision-making and early intervention are essential for a favorable prognosis. Thus, the use of AI in conjunction with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) emerges as a promising tool to optimize triage and accelerate diagnosis, contributing to better clinical outcomes
